My favorite purse is made from a pattern I purchased at the quilt fabric store.
It had interior pockets and one outside. I've made 3 or 4 of them.
I would have to choose a good cotton fabric, quilt batting, and lining. Then, I would quilt the fabrics. It's great that you can customize the fabrics.
Then the lining would make the pockets that I made to fit specific items I carry with me. For the bottom hard, I used two layers of grocery store fabric bag bottom stuff. And I would cover them in the lining fabric.

I need to make another one as it was just the right size.

This sounds interesting! do you plan to stick with the same fabrics you've used before, or are you thinking of trying a new look for this next one?

Why do you keep going back to that purse pattern? Is it the custom pockets or the perfect size that keeps you making more?

Nice nicec, you've really nailed the customization and durability with those layers, makes sense to keep making them since they fit your needs so well

That's the magic of quilting fabrics, you can get endless customization options. Glad you found your perfect purse! can I ask you ask you about the total cost of making 1 purse?
