I'm diving into a project using two layers of cotton fabric, some batting, and Insul-Bright for insulation, and I could really use your help! Do any of you have recommendations for sewing machine needles that can handle this mix without breaking or skipping stitches? I want to avoid any frustrating hiccups while I sew. Thanks so much in advance for your advice, I really appreciate it

Go with a size 90/14 or even 100/16 universal or quilting needle, you have to make sure your machine’s tension isn’t too tight and use a walking foot if you have one, it’ll help feed the layers evenly without shifting or puckering. I usually switch needles halfway through a big batch just to keep things running smooth
